There are several parts to this system:
When Scratchy's air-con is on, it affects idling negatively to the point that the engine stalls when the car is not moving. Had it checked in a famous/reputable air-con shop owned by a "Joey" in Karangalan Village in Pasig.

He overhauled and cleaned the system, replaced my evaporator from PHDM to JDM, and repaired my compressor. Solved the problem.
After the engine swap, I still get erratic idling at times when the compressor turns on. This time, I decided to buy a fresh surplus JDM (Japan Domestic Market) condenser with fan from Darwin of HCP for just P1,500. Had this installed and noticed the improvement in the temperature of the interior. Next that I will upgrade is the compressor which I can get at around P3,000 in surplus shops -- but that can wait for now.
