(Week 5) Scratchy's Awesome Paint Job that Renders it Scratchless

Another week has passed and I'm back to check on my project.

I saw Scratchy under the sun (good in curing newly applied paint), being glass-detailed.
Doors, all the glass, and all interior parts already installed.
But I have a surprise for Scratchy today -- GATHERS/JDM INTERIOR!

Here you will see the detail of the shop's work with the first photos of the engine bay and the body-colored inner fender.

Check out the pictures:

(Week 4) Scratchy's Awesome Paint Job that Renders it Scratchless

Another visit today to P3 to check on Scratchy.
I can't help but notice the slow transformation of this car from a beat up, rusty piece of metal, to a head-turning classic.

Not much progress here, but I took some good detailed shots especially of the fenders and under carriage. Notice that they even covered-up parts that don't need to be painted.

(Week 3.5) Scratchy's Awesome Paint Job that Renders it Scratchless

It's painting time!
Notice that they paint the car disassembled?
That's right. It means that all the unseen parts of the car will be painted. All removed, including the windshield, quarter panels, all rubber trims and interior. The only parts not removed are the engine and the dashboard.

Check it out!
